The vision of someone shaping the lettering from one style to another in a crystal ball was very apealing to me. It also added a touch of magic to the piece. I wanted the color scheme simple with just a few colors using purple as the main color as it relates to the feeling of magic.

I made this animation using Procreate on an Ipad. I started out by setting the first, middle and last key scenes of the animation. When the most important drawing were in place I drew all the inbetweens that I needed to make it look smooth and be able to loop. From the bottom to the top movement of the hands I used the same frames to go from top to bottom, this in order to create the looping effect of the animation.
